If your vehicle is equipped with a sunroof, you can open or tilt the sunroof using the sunroof control lever located on the overhead console.

The sunroof can only be opened, closed, or tilted when the ignition switch is in the ON position.

  • In cold and humid climates, the sunroof may not operate properly due to freezing conditions.
  • After washing the vehicle or during rain, be sure to wipe off any water on the sunroof before using it.

WARNING - Sunroof Control Lever

Do not continue to hold the sunroof control lever after the sunroof is fully open, closed, or tilted. This may damage the motor or system components.

WARNING

Never adjust the sunroof or sunshade while driving. This could cause loss of vehicle control and an accident that may result in death, serious injury, or property damage.

WARNING

To prevent accidental operation of the sunroof, especially by a child, do not allow children to operate the sunroof.

WARNING

Do not sit on the roof of the vehicle. This may cause damage to the vehicle.
