Manual Type

To fold the outside rearview mirror, grasp the mirror housing and fold it toward the rear of the vehicle.

Electric Type

The outside rearview mirror can be folded or unfolded by pressing the switch as shown below.

Up (1): The mirror unfolds.

Down (2): The mirror folds. Center (AUTO, 3):

The mirrors will fold or unfold automatically in the following cases:

  • Without smart key system
    - The mirror will fold or unfold when the door is locked or unlocked with the transmitter.
  • With smart key system
    - The mirror will fold or unfold when the door is locked or unlocked with the smart key.
    - The mirror will fold or unfold when the door is locked or unlocked by the button on the outside door handle.
    - The mirror will unfold when you approach the vehicle (all doors closed and locked) with the smart key.

CAUTION

The electric type outside rearview mirror operates even when the ignition key is in the OFF position. However, to prevent unnecessary battery discharge, do not adjust the mirrors for longer than necessary while the engine is not running.

CAUTION

If this is an electric type outside rearview mirror, do not fold it by hand. This may cause motor failure.
