    Tightening torque: 98.0 ~ 118 N·m

  6. Loosen the bolt, then disconnect the universal joint assembly (A) from the steering gear pinion.

    Tightening torque: 32.4 ~ 37 N·m

    • Lock the steering wheel in the straight-ahead position to prevent damage to the inner cable of the clock spring when handling the steering wheel.
    • When installing, always replace the bolt with a new one. (SEAL-LOCK applied)
  7. Loosen the bolt and nut, then separate the roller rod stopper (A).

    Tightening torque: 107.9 - 128 N·m

  8. Disconnect the muffler rubber mount (A).
  9. Loosen the bolts and nuts and remove the subframe (A). Tightening torque: Subframe mounting bolts and nuts: 156.9 ~ 176 N·m (16.0 ~ 18.0 kgf·m, 115.7 ~ 130.2 lbf·ft) Subframe support bracket bolt 44.1 ~ 54 N·m
  10. Loosen the bolts (A, 2 EA) and remove the protector (B).

    Tightening torque: 6.9 ~ 10.8 N·m

  11. Remove the stabilizer bar (A) from the front subframe by loosening the mounting bolts and nuts.

    Tightening torque: 44.1 ~ 54 N·m

  12. Loosen the nut and remove the stabilizer link (A) from the stabilizer bar.

    Tightening torque: 98.1 ~ 118 N·m

  13. Check the wheel alignment. (Refer to Tires/Wheels – Wheel Alignment)
