Whenever the vehicle battery is disconnected or discharged, or the related fuse is blown, you must reset the sunroof system as follows:

1. Start the engine and close the roof glass and sunshade fully.

2. Release the control lever.

3. Push the roof control lever forward in the closing direction (about 10 seconds) while the roof operates as follows:

GLASS OPEN → TILT OPEN

Then release the control lever.

4. Move the roof control lever forward in the closing direction until the roof operates as follows:

SUNSHADE AND GLASS OPEN SIMULTANEOUSLY → CLOSE → ZONE CLOSE

Then release the control lever.

When this is completed, the sunroof system is reset.

For more detailed information, we recommend contacting an authorized Kia dealer.

✽ NOTICE

If the sunroof is not returned to its original position, it may not operate properly.
