The indicator illuminates when the speed limiter system is activated by moving thelever up on the steering wheel.

The indicator goes off when thelever is moved again to deactivate the system.

If there is a problem with the speed limiter control system, the "---" indicator will flash. In this case, we recommend that the system be inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.

The speed limiter indicators appear on the LCD display.
