The alarm will be activated if any of the following occurs while the system is armed.

  • The front or rear door is opened without using the transmitter or smart key.
  • The rear door is opened without using the transmitter or smart key.
  • The hood is opened.

The horn sounds and the hazard warning lamps will flash continuously for 27 seconds if the system is not disarmed. To turn off the system, unlock the doors using the transmitter or smart key.
