  • When the central door lock switch is pressed, all doors of the vehicle will lock and the indicator on the switch will illuminate.
  • If any door is open when the switch is pressed, not all doors will lock.
  • If any door is not locked, the central door lock switch indicator will turn off.
  • When the central door unlock switch is pressed, all doors of the vehicle will unlock.

✽ NOTICE

After the doors have been locked with the transmitter or smart key, the doors cannot be unlocked with the central door lock/unlock switch.

WARNING - Doors

  • The doors should always be fully closed and locked while the vehicle is in motion to prevent accidental door opening. Locked doors also discourage potential intruders when the vehicle stops or slows down.
  • Be careful when opening the doors and watch for vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles or pedestrians approaching the vehicle in the path of the door. Opening a door when something is approaching may result in damage or injury.

WARNING! Unlocked vehicle

Leaving the vehicle unlocked may invite theft or possible harm to you or others from someone hiding in your vehicle while you are away. Always remove the ignition key, apply the parking brake, close all windows and lock all doors when leaving your vehicle unattended.

WARNING - Unattended Children

A closed vehicle can become extremely hot, which may result in death or serious injury to children or animals left unattended that cannot escape the vehicle. In addition, children may operate vehicle functions that could injure them, or they may encounter other harm, possibly from someone gaining access to the vehicle. Never leave children or animals unattended in your vehicle.
