When the ignition switch is in the ON position, press the heated steering wheel button. The indicator on the button will illuminate.

To turn off the heated steering wheel, press the button again. The indicator on the button will turn off.

WARNING

If the steering wheel becomes too hot, turn the system off. The heated steering wheel may cause burns even at low temperatures, especially with prolonged use.

✽ NOTICE

The steering wheel heater will automatically turn off approximately 30 minutes after it is turned on.

CAUTION

  • Do not install any steering wheel covers, as they may interfere with the operation of the heated steering wheel system.
  • When cleaning the heated steering wheel, do not use organic solvents such as paint thinner, benzene, alcohol, or gasoline. These may damage the steering wheel surface.
  • If the steering wheel surface is damaged by a sharp object, it may damage the heating components of the steering wheel.
