Repair Procedures

Removal

1. 1
   Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. 2
   Remove the steering wheel assembly. (Refer to Steering System – Steering Wheel)
3. 3
   Remove the remote control switch from the steering wheel (A) after loosening the mounting screws.

   

   

4. 4
   Disconnect the remote control connector on the steering wheel (A).

   

Installation

1. 1
   Connect the remote control switch connector on the steering wheel.
2. 2
   Install the remote control switch on the steering wheel.
3. 3
   Install the steering wheel and the driver airbag module.
4. 4
   Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Inspection

1. Check the resistance between the terminals at each switch position.

   GROUP	1-6	390 Ω
   STEP		610 Ω
   TRIP DOWN		910 Ω
   ENTER		1.38 kΩ
