- Park the vehicle on the side of the road so that you can work with the TMK away from moving traffic. Place your hazard warning sign in a visible location to alert approaching vehicles of your location.
- To prevent the vehicle from moving, even on level ground, always set the parking brake.
- Use the TMK only to seal and inflate passenger car tires. Do not use it on motorcycles, bicycles, or any other type of tire.
- Do not remove foreign objects such as nails or screws that have penetrated the tire.
- Read the precautions printed on the sealant bottle before using the TMK!
- If the vehicle is outdoors, keep the engine running. Otherwise, the compressor may eventually discharge the vehicle battery.
- Never leave the TMK unattended while it is in use.
- Do not operate the compressor for more than 10 minutes at a time, or it may overheat.
- Do not use the TMK if the ambient temperature is below -30°C (-22°F).
- When the tire and wheel are damaged, do not use the Tire Mobility Kit for your safety.
