Repair Procedures

Replacement

  1. Remove the transaxle assembly. (Refer to Manual Transaxle System - Manual Transaxle)
  2. Remove the flywheel. (Refer to Cylinder Block Assembly - "Flywheel")
  3. Remove the rear oil seal (A).
  4. Using the SST (09214-03100, 09231-H1100) and a plastic hammer, drive the new oil seal (A) in until the SST surface is flush with the cylinder block.
  5. Install the remaining parts in the reverse order of removal.
