ESC OFF Status

This vehicle has two ESC OFF states.

If the engine stops while the ESC system is off, the ESC system remains off. After the engine is restarted, the ESC system will automatically turn on again.

• ESC OFF Status 1: "Traction Control Disabled"

To disable the traction control function and use only the brake control function of the ESC, press the ESC OFF button for less than 3 seconds. The ESC OFF indicator will illuminate. Only in this state will the brake function operate.

• ESC OFF Status 2: "Traction and Stability Control Disabled"

To disable the traction control function and the ESC brake control function, press and hold the ESC OFF button for more than 3 seconds. The ESC OFF indicator will illuminate and a warning chime will sound. In this state, the vehicle stability control function will not operate.
