WARNING

  • Even in vehicles equipped with airbags, you and your passengers should always wear seat belts to minimize the risk and severity of injury in a collision or, in most cases, a rollover. • SRS airbags and pretensioners contain explosive chemical substances.
  • Cleaning the vehicle without removing the SRS and pretensioners may cause a fire. Before cleaning the vehicle, contact a professional workshop. Kia recommends visiting an authorized Kia dealer/service partner.
  • Keep SRS components and wiring away from water or any other liquid. If SRS components fail due to exposure to water or liquids, it may result in fire or serious injury.
