~1min read

The airbag warning light on the instrument panel is designed to warn you of a potential problem with your airbag – the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS).
When the ignition is turned on, the warning light should illuminate for approximately 6 seconds, then go out. Have the system checked if:
- The light does not illuminate briefly when the ignition is turned on.
- The light remains on after illuminating for approximately 6 seconds.
- The light comes on while the vehicle is being driven.
- The indicator blinks when the ignition switch is in the ON position.
