X: The airbag system is designed to activate in this type of collision.

*1 (With front passenger airbag OFF switch) The front and side airbags and the front seat belt pretensioner are designed to activate depending on the status of the front passenger airbag OFF switch.

*2 (With side airbags/curtain airbags) In the event of a side impact, the front seat belt pretensioners and the side airbags/curtain airbags activate (only on the side where the collision occurs).

CAUTION

In a frontal-oblique collision, the airbags and seat belt pretensioners may all activate, depending on the direction, angle and severity of the impact.
