Position the lap portion as low as possible, not over the abdomen, then adjust the shoulder portion so that the belt fits snugly against the body.

Unfastening the seat belt

Press the button in the buckle. If the belt does not retract completely, pull it out and check that it is not kinked or twisted.

The belt should move freely when retracting.

CAUTION

If the belt does not retract completely, check that it is not kinked or twisted. If it still does not retract properly, have it inspected by a qualified service workshop; we recommend a Mazda Authorized Dealer.
