To fold down the left or right rear seat, always start with the seat cushion, never the backrest (risk of damage):

• move the front seat(s) forward if necessary,
• lower the head restraints or remove them if necessary,

Check that the seat belt strap is correctly positioned on the side of the backrest.

Make sure the side seat belt straps are buckled into their locking buckles (the centre seat belt must not be buckled),

• lift the front of seat cushion 1,
• tilt seat cushion 1 against the front seat(s),
• pull control 3 forward to unlock backrest 2,
• fold down backrest 2.

Note: seat cushion 1 can be carefully removed to increase the load volume.

Squeeze the seat cushion fixings to release them from their anchorages.

When refitting:

• raise backrest 2 and lock it (the red indicator on control 3 must no longer be visible),
• lower seat cushion 1,
• refit the head restraints if you removed them.

Caution: make sure the seat belt is not trapped and that the buckle of each strap is correctly positioned in its housing before each backrest is folded. This allows you to raise the backrests with their belts and buckles ready to receive your rear passengers.
