Automatic air conditioning control

Using automatic air conditioning control is recommended.
It automatically and optimally manages all of the following functions: air flow, cabin temperature and air distribution, using various sensors. You therefore do not need to change the settings other than the displayed value.
Do not block the solar sensor 8 .
It is used for air conditioning control.
Driving tips
For good ventilation, avoid closing the soft-diffusion grille 9 .
In hot weather, for maximum ventilation you can close the soft-diffusion grille and use only vents 1 and 5 .
If the interior temperature remains very high after a prolonged stop in the sun, ventilate the cabin for a few moments.
For even air distribution, make sure not to block the outside air intake grille at the base of the windscreen, the vents, the air outlets under the front seats and the air extraction point behind the hatches in the boot.
In particularly demanding situations (towing the maximum load up a steep slope in high temperatures), switching off the air conditioning recovers engine power and therefore improves towing capacity.
Close the windows so that the air conditioning works at full efficiency.
Make sure the cabin filter is in good condition.
Have the filter elements replaced periodically. If the environment requires it, replace them twice as often.
The air conditioning system does not contain chlorine and poses no danger to the ozone layer.
Run the air conditioning system for 5 to 10 minutes once or twice a month to keep it in perfect working order.
Water produced by the air conditioner condensation drains through a dedicated outlet. A puddle of water may therefore form under the vehicle when it is stationary.
If the system does not produce cold air, do not use it and contact the PEUGEOT network.
- Central front vents.
- Adjusting the airflow of the glovebox (see "Interior fittings" chapter).
- Air outlet at occupant footwell level.
- Two rear vents at the base of the centre console between the passengers.
- Side vents.
- Front door window demisting or defrosting outlets.
- Windscreen demisting or defrosting outlets.
- Solar sensor.
- Soft-diffusion grille.
Soft diffusion
The soft-diffusion grille, located at the top of the centre console, noticeably improves air distribution and flow, avoids draughts while maintaining an optimum temperature inside the cabin.
