Locking and unlocking of the boot and tailgate take place at the same time as the doors.

Opening the boot and tailgate

The boot and tailgate cannot be opened at the same time.

Tailgate closed, to open the boot, operate handle a, then lift the boot lid.

Boot closed, to open the tailgate, operate handle b, then lift the tailgate.

The lighting is controlled by opening the boot or the tailgate.

Cracking open the tailgate

Boot closed, to crack open the tailgate, press and hold the unlock button c on the remote control.

Notes: the boot and tailgate lock automatically when driving at 10 km/h and unlock when one of the doors is opened.

When the rear wiper is in a sweeping position, the tailgate can only be opened at the end of the cycle.

Close the tailgate using the wiper arm or by pressing the centre of the window.

"Tailgate open" warning

Engine running, if the tailgate is not properly closed, you are alerted by a message on the multifunction display.

Vehicle moving (speed above 10 km/h), if the tailgate is not properly closed, you are alerted by an audible signal, a message on the multifunction display and the service warning light coming on.

Emergency control

In the event of a malfunction, it allows the central locking to unlock the boot.

• Fold down the rear seats to access the lock from inside the boot.
• Insert a small screwdriver into hole A of the lock to unlock the boot.
