To open

Press button 1 and lift the tailgate.

To close

Lower the tailgate, using the interior handles 2 at first.

Manual opening from inside

If the luggage compartment cannot be unlocked, it can be opened manually from inside:

• access the luggage compartment by folding down the rear seatback(s);
• insert a pencil, or a similar object, into opening 3 and slide the assembly as shown in the illustration;
• push the tailgate to open it.
