Rear wiper
with speed-dependent timing

Ignition on, turn the end of lever 1 until reference mark 2 is opposite the symbol.

The wiping frequency varies with vehicle speed.

Rear wash-wipe

Ignition on, turn the end of lever 1 until reference mark 2 is opposite the symbol.

When you release the lever, it returns to the rear wiper position.

A short action triggers the rear washer.

A prolonged action triggers, in addition to the rear washer, continuous wiping until the request ends, then two back-and-forth sweeps followed, after a few seconds, by a third.

Special feature

If the front wipers are running or in automatic mode, the rear wiper performs intermittent wiping when reverse gear is engaged.

Depending on the vehicle, you can deactivate this function from the touchscreen.

Refer to the equipment user manual for more information.

Before any work on the windscreen (vehicle washing, defrosting, windscreen cleaning...), return lever 1 to the off position.

Risk of injury or damage.

In snow or frost conditions, clear the windscreen (including the central area behind the interior rear-view mirror) and the rear window before switching on the wipers (risk of wiper motor overheating).

Check the condition of the wiper blades.

Their service life depends on you:

  • They must be kept clean: clean the blades, windscreen and rear window regularly with soapy water;
  • do not use them when the windscreen or rear window is dry;
  • lift them off the windscreen or rear window when they have not been used for a long time.

In all cases, replace them as soon as their efficiency decreases: approximately every year.

Before using the rear wiper, make sure no carried item obstructs the blade's travel.

Do not use the wiper arm to open or close the tailgate.
