To open

Press button 1 and lift the tailgate.

To close

Lower the tailgate, using the interior handles 2 at first.

Manual opening from inside

If the luggage compartment cannot be unlocked, it can be opened manually from inside:

• access the luggage compartment by folding down the rear seatback(s);
• insert a pencil, or a similar object, into cavity 3 and slide the assembly as shown in the diagram;
• push the tailgate to open it.

Never
place any objects, especially heavy or hard objects, on the parcel shelf.

In the event of sudden braking or an accident, they may endanger the vehicle occupants.
