Automatic mode

Automatic climate control is a system that maintains comfort in the cabin and good visibility (except in extreme conditions of use) while optimising fuel consumption. The system controls fan speed, airflow distribution, air recirculation, air conditioning on/off and air temperature.

AUTO: optimises reaching the chosen comfort level according to outside conditions. Press button 1

Changing the fan speed

In automatic mode, the system manages the fan speed best suited to reach and maintain comfort.

You can still adjust the fan speed by turning control 6 to increase or decrease it.

Adjusting the air temperature

Turn control 2 to the desired temperature.

The further the control is turned to the right, the higher the temperature.

Note: the extreme settings allow the system to produce maximum cooling or maximum heating (“18 °C” and “26 °C”).

Each time a selection is made, the information is displayed for a few seconds on the touchscreen.

“Clear view” function

Press button 3; the built-in indicator lights up.

This function quickly defrosts and demists the windscreen and rear window, the front side windows and the exterior mirrors (depending on vehicle). It automatically activates the air conditioning and rear window defrost.

Press button 8 to stop the rear window defroster; the built-in indicator goes off.

To exit this function, press button 3 or 1.

Some buttons have an indicator light showing the status of the function.

Air recirculation (cabin isolation)Cette fonction est gérée automatiquement

This function is managed automatically, but you can also activate it manually. In this case, activation is confirmed by the built-in indicator on button 7 lighting up.

The system determines whether to use recirculation based on outside air quality.

Demisting/defrosting always takes priority over air recirculation.

Air quality is indicated by one of the following indicators lighting up on the touchscreen (from cleanest to most polluted air):

.
Nota :.

Note:

  • during recirculation, air is taken from the cabin and recirculated without outside air intake;
  • air recirculation isolates you from the outside environment (driving in polluted areas...);
  • reaches the desired cabin temperature more efficiently.

Manual operation

Press button 7; the built-in indicator lights up.

Prolonged use of this setting may cause odours due to lack of fresh air, and condensation on the windows.

It is therefore advisable to return to automatic mode by pressing button 7 again as soon as air recirculation is no longer needed.

To exit this function, press button 7 again.

Switching the system off

Turn control 6 to “OFF” to switch the system off. To restart it, turn control 6 again to adjust the fan speed, or press button 1.

Each time a selection is made, the information is displayed for a few seconds on the touchscreen
