Window lifts

These systems operate with the ignition on or off until a front door is opened (limited to approximately 3 minutes).

The driver can disable operation of the rear window lifts by pressing switch 4. A confirmation message appears on the instrument panel.

Driver's responsibility

Never leave your vehicle with the RENAULT card inside and a child (or an animal) in it, even for a short time. The child could put themselves or others in danger by starting the engine, operating equipment such as the window lifts, or locking the doors. If a part of the body becomes trapped, immediately reverse the direction of the window by pressing the relevant switch.

Risk of serious injury.

Electric window lifts

Press or pull the switch for a window to lower or raise it to the desired height: the rear windows do not lower fully.

From the driver's seat, operate the switches:

1. 1
   for the driver's side;
2. 2
   for the front passenger side;
3. 3
   and 5 for the rear passengers.

   

From the passenger seats, operate switch 6.

Do not rest objects on a partially open window: risk of damaging the window lift.

One-touch mode

Depending on the vehicle, this mode is added to the operation of the electric window lifts described above. It is fitted only to the driver's front window.

Press or pull switch 1 fully and briefly: the window lowers or raises fully. Pressing the switch stops the window.

Note: if the driver's window meets resistance at the end of its travel (fingers, tree branch, etc.), it stops and then lowers by a few centimetres.

Closing the windows
can cause serious injury.

Operating faults

If a window fails to close, the system switches to non-impulse mode: pull the relevant switch as many times as necessary until the window is fully closed (the window rises step by step), hold the switch (still in the closing direction) for one second, then lower and raise the window fully to reset the system.
