Adjusting the height and reach of the steering wheel

Pull lever 1, set the steering wheel to the desired position, then push the lever beyond the stop to lock the steering wheel.

Make sure the steering wheel is locked properly.

Power steering

Never drive the vehicle with a weak battery.

For safety reasons, make adjustments with the vehicle stationary.

If the engine is off or in case of a system fault, the steering wheel can always be turned. The force required to turn the steering wheel will increase. Never switch off the engine while driving (this disables the power steering).
