With the ignition on, set lever 1 accordingly.

• A stop.
• B intermittent wiping.

The wipers stop for a few seconds after completing a cycle.

The interval between successive wiper sweeps can be adjusted by setting ring 2 accordingly.

C slow continuous wiping.

D fast continuous wiping.

Positions B, C and D are available only when the ignition is on.

Special feature

When the vehicle stops while moving, the wiper speed is reduced.

From fast continuous wiping, the wipers switch to slow continuous wiping.

When the vehicle starts moving again, the wipers automatically return to the mode selected before the vehicle stopped. Any change of position of lever 1 overrides the automatic operation.

When working under the engine bonnet, make sure the wiper lever is in position A (stop).
