Supplementary restraint systems for front seat belts

Depending on the vehicle version, they include:

• front seat belt pretensioners;
• collarbone belt pretensioners;
• driver's and front passenger's frontal airbags.

These systems may operate separately or together in the event of a frontal collision of the vehicle with an obstacle.

Depending on the force of the impact, the system may activate:

• seat belt locking mechanism;
• seat belt retractor pretensioners (which activate to remove belt slack);
• airbags.
