Unclip the fasteners 3 on each side of the shelf, then slide it out through the tailgate.

When refitting, follow the removal procedure in reverse.

Do not place heavy or hard objects on the rear parcel shelf. In the event of sudden braking or an accident, they could pose a danger to vehicle occupants.
