REMOVAL
Fit locking sector Mot. 582 or Mot. 582-01.
Remove the clutch mechanism mounting bolts and remove the friction disc.
Inspect and replace defective parts.

INSTALLATION
Clean the splines of the clutch shaft and refit the assembly without lubricant.
Fit the disc (hub offset towards the gearbox).
Centre using the tool supplied in the spare parts kit.

Tighten the mechanism mounting bolts progressively in a star pattern, then tighten to torque.
Remove locking sector Mot. 582 or Mot. 582-01.
Apply MOLYKOTE BR2 grease to:
the guide tube,
the release fork pads.
After refitting the gearbox, fit the cable to the clutch release fork, re-engage the toothed sector and check the operation of the clearance take-up.
Check the clutch release travel.
The release fork travel must be:
X = 27.4 to 30.7 mm

NOTE: for operations that do not require gearbox removal, or after refitting the gearbox, DO NOT LIFT THE FORK as it could disengage from the notch (A) of the bearing.
