Points (A) and (B) are the positioning references of the gauge on the vehicle.

Before setting up, it is necessary to make sure during diagnosis that these points are correct.

Points (E), (F) and (G) and their symmetrical counterparts are primarily used for fixing and positioning the replaced parts.

However, when one of points (A) or (B) cannot serve as a reference (detected during diagnosis), the points on the side opposite the impact perform the positioning reference function.
