Lifting equipment
Safety symbol (special precautions to observe during work).

Using a trolley jack always requires the use of suitable axle stands.
Do not lift the vehicle by supporting it under the front suspension arms or under the V-profile of the rear axle.
Depending on the type of trolley jack, use sockets Cha. 408-01 or Cha. 408-02 to place pad Cha. 280-02.
To lift the front or rear, support the vehicle under the lifting points of the on-board jack.
SIDE TROLLEY JACK
Use pad Cha. 280-02.
Support the vehicle under the wheel arch lip at the front door.
Position the sill flange correctly in the groove of the pad.

AXLE STANDS
When placing the vehicle on axle stands, always position them:
either under the reinforcements provided for lifting the vehicle with the on-board jack,
or under the pads located behind the reinforcements.
Rear axle stands are positioned by lifting the vehicle from the side.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Several cases must be considered:
1 - REMOVING COMPONENTS
As a general rule, never use a 2-post lift when a 4-post lift can be used.
If this is not possible, place the lifting pads under the body sill flange at the on-board jack support points.
FRONT

REAR

These must always be placed exactly at the on-board jack support points. They must snap into the slots in the bottom sill flanges.
2 - SPECIAL CASE OF REMOVING AND REFITTING THE POWERTRAIN
In this case, the vehicle body must always be secured to the arms of the 2-post lift using special pads.
