Drive selector

Display 4 on the instrument panel shows the position of the drive selector.
Only move the lever to position D or R when the vehicle is stationary, with your foot on the brake and the accelerator pedal released.

P: park
R: reverse
N: neutral
D: drive
For safety, you must press the brake pedal before pressing release button 1 to leave position P. While the drive selector is in position P, indicator 3 remains lit.
- Snow mode: when driving on low-grip surfaces (snow, mud, etc.), press switch 2 while stationary. The “E” operating indicator lights up on display 4.
Outside these driving conditions, leave this mode by pressing switch 2 again. The operating indicator goes out.

Malfunction
- If the lever remains locked in P while you press the brake pedal, you can release the lever manually.
To do this, unclip cover B, then press protrusion C (located under cover B) and release button A at the same time to move the lever out of position P.

If the lever no longer controls the direction of travel, display 4 flashes on the last selected position.
You can, however, select D, R or N as required by pressing and holding the display selection button 5 for more than two seconds.
