LEARNING PROCEDURES

• VP001 "WRITE VIN":

The VIN must be entered each time the diagnostic tool communicates with the vehicle. It must be entered in every control unit of the vehicle after any control unit replacement.

Configuration procedure:

• Connect the diagnostic tool
• Refer to the automatic gearbox diagnosis
• Select the VP001 "Write VIN" setting
• Enter the vehicle's VIN
• Clear the control unit memory
• Exit diagnostic mode
• Switch off the ignition
• Wait for the "Power-latch" to end
• Read back the setting to confirm

VP009 "WRITE LAST AFTER-SALES SERVICE INTERVENTION":

Each time the automatic gearbox is serviced in the workshop, the intervention date must be entered.

Select the VP009 "Write last after-sales service intervention" command on the diagnostic tool, then enter the intervention date using the tool keypad.

VP015 "TRANSFER OIL WEAR COUNTER":

Transfer the oil wear counter code from the old control unit.

To do this, select the VP015 "Transfer oil wear counter" command on the diagnostic tool, then enter the code read from the replaced control unit using the tool keypad.

VP016 "WRITE GEARBOX OIL CHANGE DATE":

To do this, select the VP016 "Write gearbox oil change date" command on the diagnostic tool, then enter the date read from the replaced control unit using the tool keypad.
