  • REMOVAL Remove the interior mirror cover.

  • Unclip the two side clips (1) of the sensor using a small screwdriver.
  • Disconnect the connector.

INSTALLATION

  • Clean the windscreen using a wooden spatula (preferably).
WARNING

The rain sensor must be refitted in perfectly clean conditions: any dust or cloth residue may cause a malfunction.

Do not touch the electronic part of the sensor. Fit it to the vehicle immediately after removing it from its packaging.

Note:
  • When replacing the windscreen (keeping the rain and light sensor), the adhesive base (6) of the sensor must be replaced without fail (see Bodywork chapter).
  • This part is available individually from the spare parts store.
  • Position the sensor on the bracket.
  • Clip the sensor onto the bracket.
  • Reconnect the connector.
  • Refit the mirror cover.
