Tightening torques
motor mounting screws 0.8 daN.m
motor shaft nut 2.2 daN.m

REMOVAL

  • Remove the wiper mechanism (Chapter Wiping / Washing, Front Wiper, page 85A-4).
  • Disconnect the drive link from the motor mechanism.

  • Remove:
  • the motor shaft nut (1),
  • the two motor mounting screws (2).

INSTALLATION

WARNING

Before refitting the mechanism drive link, make sure the wiper motor is correctly positioned at the fixed park position.

  • Set the motor to the fixed park position.
  • Fit the mechanism onto the motor.
  • Tighten the motor mounting screws to torque (0.8 daN.m).
  • Position the mechanism drive link between the embossings (3).
  • Tighten the motor shaft nut to torque (2.2 daN.m).
  • Refit the wiper mechanism (Chapter Wiping / Washing, Front Wiper, page 85A-4).
