Replacing the front wiper blade 1

With the ignition on and the engine off, fully lower the wiper control stalk: the wipers stop in a position clear of the bonnet.

Lift the wiper arm 3, pull the tab 2 (movement A) and push the blade upwards.

Refitting

Slide the blade onto the arm until it clicks. Make sure the blade is properly locked. Return the wiper control stalk to the off position.

Rear wiper blade 4

• Lift the wiper arm 6;
• rotate blade 4 until you feel resistance (movement C);
• depending on the vehicle, press tab 5, then remove the blade by pulling it (movement B).

Refitting

To refit the wiper blade, reverse the procedure. Make sure the blade is securely locked in place.

Check the condition of the wiper blades.

Their service life depends on you:

• clean the blades, the windscreen and the rear window regularly with soapy water;
• do not use them when the windscreen or rear window is dry;
• free them from the windscreen or rear window when they have not been used for a long time.

• In freezing conditions, make sure the wiper blades are not frozen to the windscreen (risk of motor overheating).
• Check the condition of the blades regularly.

  Replace them as soon as their effectiveness decreases: approximately once a year.

When replacing the blade, once it has been removed, make sure the arm does not drop onto the windscreen: risk of breaking the glass.
