Engaging reverse gear

Manual gearbox vehicles: follow the gate pattern shown on knob 1 and, depending on the vehicle, lift the ring against the knob to engage reverse gear.

Vehicles with automatic gearbox: refer to the "Automatic gearbox" section in chapter 2.

The reversing lights come on as soon as reverse gear is engaged, ignition on.
