Front Door Latch Repair Procedures

Replacement

1. 1
   Remove the front door module. (Refer to Front Door - "Front Door Module")

   To disconnect the front door outside handle base connector (A), spread both sides of the locking pins in the direction of the arrow, then slide the front door outside handle base connector rearward.

   Disconnect the connector (A) by pressing the lock pin, and separate the wire harness (B) from the upper part of the front door lock.

   Remove the front door inside handle (A).

   Remove the front door latch assembly (A) by pulling it in the direction indicated by the arrow.

   Remove the front door outside handle base (A) by pressing the stopper pins at the rear.

   Remove the front door outside handle cable (A).

   Install in the reverse order of removal.

   Make sure the connector is properly connected. Check that the door locks/unlocks and opens/closes properly. Replace all damaged clips.
