Front Door Trim Repair Procedures

Replacement

Wear gloves to protect your hands.

When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver or a trim tool, wrap the tool with protective tape and apply protective tape to the surrounding parts to prevent damage. Be careful not to scratch the door trim and other parts.

   After loosening the retaining clips, remove the front door inside quadrant cover (A).

   Using a flat-tip tool or puller, remove the front door plug (A).

   Pull the front door inside handle with a flat-head screwdriver and remove the cover (A) using the opening located inside the handle.

   After loosening the mounting screws, remove the front door trim (A) using a flat-head screwdriver.

   Remove the front door inside handle (A).

   Disconnect the front door extension connector (B).

   Install in the reverse order of removal.

   Make sure the connector is properly connected. Check that the door locks/unlocks and opens/closes properly. Replace all damaged clips.
