WARNING
When adjusting the seat, observe the following precautions:
- NEVER attempt to adjust the seat while the vehicle is moving. The seat may move unexpectedly, which may result in loss of control of the vehicle and an accident.
- Do not place loose objects under the front seats. Objects in the driver's foot area may interfere with pedal operation and cause an accident.
- Do not allow anything to interfere with the normal position and proper locking of the seat back.
- Do not place the cigarette lighter on the floor or seat. When operating the seat, gas may come out of the lighter, which may cause a fire.
- Use extreme caution when collecting small objects that have become lodged under the seats or between the seat and center console. Your hands may be cut or injured by sharp edges of the seat mechanism.
CAUTION
To avoid injury:
- Do not adjust the seat while wearing the seat belt. Moving the seat forward may cause strong pressure on the abdomen.
- Keep hands and fingers out of the seat mechanisms while the seat is moving.
