Power Adjustment
The front seat can be adjusted using the switches located on the outside of the seat cushion. Before driving, adjust the seat to the proper position so that you can easily operate the steering wheel, pedals, and controls on the instrument panel.
WARNING
NEVER leave children unattended in the vehicle. Power seats can operate when the engine is off.
NOTICE
To prevent damage to the seats:
- Always stop adjusting the seat when it has reached the full forward or rearward position.
- Do not operate the seat adjustment longer than necessary with the engine off. This may cause unnecessary battery discharge.
- Do not operate two or more seat switches at the same time. This may cause an electrical malfunction.
Forward and Backward Adjustment

To move the seat forward or backward:
1. Press the control switch forward or backward.
2. Release the switch as soon as the seat reaches the desired position.
Seatback Angle

To recline a seatback:
1. Press the control switch forward or backward.
2. Release the switch when the seatback reaches the desired position.
Reclining Seatback
Sitting in a reclined position while the vehicle is moving can be dangerous. Even when buckled up, the protection of your restraint system (seat belts and airbags) is significantly reduced if the seatback is reclined.
WARNING
NEVER sit behind the steering wheel with the seatback reclined while the vehicle is moving.
Riding with the seatback reclined increases the likelihood of serious or fatal injury in a collision or sudden stop.
Drivers and passengers must ALWAYS sit in their seats, properly wearing their seat belts, with the seatbacks in the upright position.
For proper operation, seat belts must fit snugly across the hips and chest. When the seatback is reclined, the shoulder belt cannot perform its function because it will not fit snugly against the chest. Instead, it will be in front of you. In an accident, you may slide under the seat belt, which may result in neck injury or other injuries.
The more the seatback is reclined, the greater the likelihood that the occupant's hips will slide under the lap belt, or that the occupant's neck will strike the shoulder belt.
Seat Cushion Height

To change the seat cushion height:
1. Pull up the front part of the control switch to raise, or press down to lower the front part of the seat cushion. Pull up the rear part of the control switch to raise, or press down to lower the rear part of the seat cushion.
2. Release the switch as soon as the seat reaches the desired position.
Lumbar Support (Driver's Seat, if equipped)

To adjust the lumbar support:
1. Press the front of the switch to increase support, or the rear of the switch to decrease support.
2. Release the switch as soon as it reaches the desired position.
Lumbar Support (Driver's Seat, if equipped)

The lumbar support can be adjusted by pressing the lumbar support switch.
- Press the front of the switch (1) to increase lumbar support, or the rear of the switch (2) to decrease lumbar support.
- Move the lumbar support up and down by pressing switch (3) or (4).
Depending on the equipment, the lumbar support may not move up or down when it is at the rearmost position.
In this case, to use the system, slightly increase the lumbar support by pressing the front part of switch (1).
