Seat Heaters and Seat Ventilation
Seat Warmers
Seat warmers are provided to warm the seats in cold weather.
WARNING
Seat heaters can cause serious burns even at low temperatures, especially during prolonged use.
Passengers should be able to feel whether the seat is becoming too warm so that they can turn it off if necessary.
Persons who cannot detect changes in temperature or pain in the skin should use special caution, especially the following occupants:
- Infants, children, elderly persons, disabled persons, or outpatients.
- Persons with sensitive skin or those who sunburn easily.
- Fatigued persons.
- Persons under the influence of alcohol.
- Persons taking medications that may cause drowsiness.
WARNING
NEVER place anything that insulates against heat, such as a blanket or seat cushion, on the seat while the seat warmer is on. This may cause the seat to overheat, which may result in burns or damage to the seat.
NOTICE
To avoid damage to the seat warmers and seats:
- Never use solvents such as paint thinner, benzene, alcohol, or gasoline to clean the seats.
- Do not place heavy or sharp objects on heated seats.
- Do not replace the seat covering. This may damage the seat warmer.

With the engine running, press any of the switches to heat the driver's or passenger's seat.
In mild weather, or when seat warmers are not needed, keep the switches in the OFF position.
• Each time you press the switch, the seat temperature changes as follows:
- Front

- Rear

• The seat warmer is in the OFF position by default whenever the ignition switch is in the ON position.
Information
When the seat heater switch is in the ON position, the heating system turns off automatically depending on the seat temperature.
