Fuel Economy

Distance to Empty (1)

• Distance to Empty is the estimated distance the vehicle can travel with the remaining fuel.
  - Distance range: 1 ~ 9999 miles or 1 ~ 9999 km
• If the estimated distance is less than 1 mile (1 km), the trip computer displays "---" as the distance to empty.

Information

• If the vehicle is parked on an uneven surface or the battery power is interrupted, the distance to empty function may not operate correctly.
• The distance to empty may differ from the actual driving distance, as it is an estimate of the available driving distance.
• The trip computer may not register additional fuel if less than 1.6 gal. (6 liters) of fuel is added to the vehicle.
• Fuel economy and distance to empty may vary significantly depending on driving conditions, driving style and vehicle condition.

Average Fuel Economy (2)

• Average fuel economy is calculated from the total distance driven and fuel consumed since the last average fuel economy reset.
• The average fuel economy can be reset either manually or automatically.

Manual Reset

To manually reset the average fuel economy, press and hold the [OK] button on the steering wheel for more than 1 second when the average fuel economy is displayed.

Automatic Reset

To automatically reset the average fuel economy after refueling, select "Auto Reset" in the "User Settings" menu on the LCD display.

- After ignition ON: The average fuel economy is automatically reset whenever 4 hours have passed after the engine is turned off.
- After refueling: The average fuel economy is automatically reset while driving at a speed over 0.6 mph (1 km/h) after adding 1.6 gal (6 liters) or more of fuel.

Information

The average fuel economy may be inaccurate if the vehicle has traveled less than 0.19 miles (300 meters) after the Engine Start/Stop button is pressed.

Instant Fuel Economy (3)

• This mode displays the instantaneous fuel economy for the last few seconds when the vehicle speed exceeds 6.2 mph (10 km/h).
