Interior Lighting

WARNING

Do not turn on the interior lights while driving at night. The interior lights may obstruct your view and cause an accident.

NOTICE

Do not leave the interior lights on for a long time with the engine off, or the battery will discharge.

Interior Light AUTO Cut

The interior lights automatically turn off approximately 20 minutes after the engine is turned off and the doors are closed. If a door is open, the light turns off 40 minutes after the engine is turned off. If the doors are locked with the remote key or Smart Key and the vehicle enters security mode of the alarm system, the lights turn off after five seconds.

Front Lights

(3) Front Door Lamp

Front Map Lamp:

Press either of these lenses (1) to turn the map light on or off. This light produces a focused beam for convenient use as a map light at night or as a personal light for the driver and front passenger.

Front Door Lamp :

The front or rear room lamps come on when the front or rear doors are opened, whether the engine is running or not. When the doors are unlocked with the remote key or Smart Key, the front and rear room lamps come on for approximately 15 seconds if no door is opened. The front and rear room lamps gradually turn off approximately 15 seconds after the door is closed. However, if the ignition switch is in the ON position or all doors are locked, the front and rear room lamps turn off immediately.

If a door is opened when the ignition switch is in the ACC or LOCK/OFF position, the front and rear room lamps remain on for approximately 20 minutes. However, if a door is opened when the ignition switch is in the ON position, the lamps remain on continuously.

Front Room Lamp:

• Enter

: Press this switch to turn the front and rear license plate lamps on.

: Press this switch to turn the front and rear license plate lamps off.

• Type B

: Press this switch to turn the front and rear license plate lamps on and off.

Tail Lamps

License Plate Lamp :

Press this switch to turn the room lamp on or off.

Trunk Lamp

The trunk lamp turns on when the trunk lid is opened.

NOTICE

The trunk lamp remains on as long as the trunk lid is open. To prevent unnecessary drain on the charging system, close the trunk lid firmly after using the trunk.

Door Lamp

The door courtesy lamp comes on when a door is opened to help you enter or exit the vehicle. It also serves as a warning to approaching vehicles that a door is open.

When the ignition switch is in the LOCK/OFF or ACC position and a door is open, the lamp turns off after 20 minutes.

Glove Box Lamp

The glove box lamp comes on when the glove box is opened.

If the glove box is not closed, the lamp turns off after 20 minutes.

NOTICE

To avoid unnecessary battery discharge, close the glove box securely after using the glove box.

Vanity Mirror Lamp

When the vanity mirror cover is opened, the mirror lamp turns on automatically.

NOTICE

To avoid unnecessary battery discharge, close the vanity mirror cover after using the mirror.
