Always adjust the mirror angles before driving.

Your vehicle is equipped with left and right side view mirrors. The mirrors can be adjusted remotely using the remote mirror switch. The mirror heads can be folded to prevent damage during an automatic car wash or when driving through a narrow street.

The right side mirror is convex. Objects seen in the mirror are closer than they appear.

Use the inside rearview mirror or look directly over your shoulder to judge the actual distance to vehicles following when changing lanes.

WARNING

Do not adjust or fold the side view mirrors while driving. This may cause loss of vehicle control, resulting in an accident.

CAUTION

  • Do not scrape ice off the mirror; this may damage the glass surface.
  • If the mirror is frozen, do not force the mirror adjustment. Use an approved aerosol de-icer (not engine coolant antifreeze), or a sponge or soft cloth with very warm water, or move the vehicle to a warm place and allow the ice to melt.
