This filter is located behind the glove box. It filters dust and other contaminants that enter the vehicle through the heating and air conditioning system.
Have the cabin air filter replaced by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer according to the maintenance schedule. If the vehicle is operated under severe conditions, such as dusty or rough roads, more frequent inspection and replacement of the air conditioner filter is required.
If the airflow suddenly decreases, have the system inspected at an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
Inspecting the Air Conditioner Refrigerant and Compressor Lubricant
When the refrigerant level is low, air conditioner performance is reduced. Overcharging also has a negative effect on the air conditioning system.
Therefore, if abnormal operation is detected, the system must be inspected by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
NOTICE
It is important that the correct type and amount of oil and refrigerant are used. Otherwise, the compressor may be damaged and the system may operate abnormally.
WARNING
Vehicles equipped with R-1234yf
Because the refrigerant is flammable under very high pressure, the air conditioning system must be serviced only by trained and certified technicians. It is important to use the correct type and amount of oil and refrigerant.
Failure to do so may result in vehicle damage and personal injury.
The air conditioning system must be serviced by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.

The actual air conditioner refrigerant label in your vehicle may differ from the illustration.
Each symbol and specification on the air conditioner refrigerant label means the following:
1. Refrigerant classification
2. Refrigerant quantity
3. Compressor lubricant classification
