To open the glove box in the instrument panel, pull the latch lever. To close it, press the lid until it clicks shut. The glove box can be locked with a key by turning it clockwise, and unlocked by turning the key counterclockwise.

WARNING Never drive with the glove box lid open. In the event of an accident, it may cause injury.
