When the ignition is on, the gauge shows the engine coolant temperature.

Under normal driving conditions, the needle should stay within the normal temperature range, between "H" and "C".

If the needle reaches "H" (HOT), the engine is overheating. For instructions on what to do if the engine overheats, refer to the EMERGENCY SITUATIONS section.

NOTICE Continuing to drive with an overheated engine may cause serious engine damage.
