The rear seats of this vehicle can be folded forward to provide additional luggage space.

(Individually folding seats)

To fold the rear seat, hook the straps of both seat belts on the anchors (if equipped), pull the locking knob at the top of each seatback and fold the seatbacks forward.

To raise the seatback, lift it and push it rearward until it locks, then release the seat belt straps from the anchors.

(One-piece seat)

To lower the seatback, hook the straps of both seat belts on the anchors (if equipped), pull both buttons 1 and 2 at the same time and fold the seatback down. To raise the seatback, lift it and push it rearward until it locks, then release the seat belt straps from the anchors.

WARNING. Seat belt anchors (if equipped) should be used only to hold the belts when the seats are folded. If the belts are not released from the anchors when the belts are in use, the belts may not provide the protection they were designed for. WARNING Luggage and other cargo should be stored in the luggage compartment with the seatbacks raised whenever possible. If it is necessary to carry cargo in the passenger compartment with the rear seats folded, make sure the cargo is secured so that it cannot move and create a hazard for passengers. Never stack luggage higher than the top of the seatbacks. NOTICE When moving the seatbacks, be sure to hook the seat belt straps on the anchors (if equipped) so that they are not caught by the seatback, hinge, or seatback latch. This helps prevent damage to the belts. WARNING When returning the rear seatback to its normal position, make sure nothing interferes with its movement and that it is securely locked.
