Instalación y extracción de la red de acero del compartimento de carga

The steel cargo grid prevents loads or pets in the cargo compartment from being thrown forward into the passenger compartment during hard braking.

Por razones de seguridad, la red de acero siempre debe estar instalada y fijada correctamente.

La red de acero consta de la propia red y de dos soportes de montaje independientes. Cada uno de los soportes de montaje tiene una cubierta de tornillo y dos manguitos de plástico para la red.

Instalación

   Abata los asientos traseros y levante la red de acero a través de una de las puertas traseras o del portón trasero. El lado curvado (convexo) de la red debe mirar hacia el compartimento de carga y los ganchos de cada lado de la red deben mirar hacia arriba. Los soportes de montaje y los manguitos de plástico no son necesarios en este paso.

   Press one of the grid's hooks into the larger hole in the ceiling attachment point (1).

   Sujete la red junto al gancho y tire/empuje de ella hacia el orificio más pequeño (2).

   • El gancho ya está fijado en el punto de anclaje.

   Repeat step 2 above to secure the other hook in the attachment point on the opposite side.

   Attach the mounting bracket's hook through the cargo anchoring eyelet near the floor of the cargo compartment and insert the threaded section of the bracket through the grid's lower attachment hole (1).

   Slide the plastic sleeve onto the threaded section of the mounting bracket with the sleeve's flange turned upward and press it down through the hole. Screw the screw cover into place until its underside is approximately 5 mm from the grid (2).

   Repita el paso 4 en el lado opuesto.

   Center the grid and then tighten both mounting brackets, moving back and forth between them until the grid is securely in place.

Extracción de la cubierta

Retire la red de acero siguiendo los pasos anteriores en orden inverso.

It can be a good idea to remove the mounting brackets before removing the plastic sleeves from the holes in the grid.
